#WIPMADNESS Week 3 Check-In

I want to give all of you dear ones a huge thank you for all the support you've given me in getting my debut novel published. I especially want to thank you for the tremendous support you've given and continue to give as my book makes its way into the real world. Looking back on last Friday, I realized that the majority of publicity and support came from all of you. I am enormously grateful.

What are you grateful for today?

  5. I'm with you and Jennifer when it comes to thankfulness for all the support from the online writing community. I especially appreciate having been welcomed into the #wipmadness group, even though I don't really write for the YA market.

It's been exciting to follow your progress and see you reach this point, Angelina. I wish you and Ace heaps of success!

    1. Thanks. And I don't think it matters what you write. #wipmadness is madness whether it's YA or not. ^_^

AND--so excited for you. Read your book-you nailed the middle grade feel and voice and situations. Way. to. go. Looking forward to the print copy hitting the shelves in December and we can do this all over again!

  7. I'm grateful for many things. I'm grateful for the #wipmadness community that helps keep me on my toes.

So excited for you! Did you get some others at Muse It Up to help spread the word of your book? Last year, when Earrings of Ixtumea, came out? I was a part of a couple author tours. Good luck to you!

  9. I'm thankful that each week I'm part of a community that comes together in a "Let's grab a [insert beverage here]" sort of way to shoot the writing breeze. From my first time joining in 2012's March Madness it seemed as though we were all old friends. I'm grateful for the support and positive energy from the group even when one of us might be a little blue. That's why I mean it when I say we're all here to congratulate and commiserate with each other in this wonderful writing family.

For instance, hugs to Deb Marshall for losing part of her work. We're cheering you on! And hugs to Angelina for her upcoming release. We're cheering you on!

    I love being a WIPster.

    Cheers,

    Tonette

  10. I am grateful that I am finally finished and ready to tackle querying. A contest came across my radar, and I was seriously considering it until I realized my work wouldn't fit. A bit disappointed, but also a lot relieved.

I am grateful for my wonderful critique partner, and being able to get some feedback (and give it, too!)

And I am definitely grateful for the support networks I have on Twitter, and all of the writers I can connect with there!

  11. Sorry, I'm a little late to the party. This week has been so weird! I'm thankful that I'm still writing and that I this awesome crew to keep me positive even when doubt and frustration threaten to pulverize my soul. I'm also grateful that my 16-year-old son with his shiny new driver's license is a careful driver...so far. Lots finger crossing going on up in here!

Hugs to all you awesome wipsters!

  12. I am so grateful for you guys--and for the fact that you so graciously allow me to pop in and out of these check-ins whenever the mood strikes. I am so thankful for all of the laughs we've shared, and all the times we've supported each other when the going gets rough. Don't know what I would do without your sanity. ;)
